What is BSS/OSS - The technology stack powering the Telecom business

There are various important systems that together make the Telecom services possible.

In general, the Telco systems are categorized into OSS (Operations Support Systems) and BSS (Business Support Systems).

It is very important to have an idea about these different entities and their relationships with each other to have an overall idea of how a Telco Operations takes place. I have come up with the below diagram to satisfy this purpose. I have deliberately shown only the individual entities and skipped the relationship between them to keep the drawing easy to grasp and understand where exactly BSS stands.
